Het atelier is gevestigd in \u2019s\u2011Hertogenbosch en staat al meer dan zeventig jaar voor ambachtelijk vakmanschap, creativiteit en een hartelijke kijk op design. De naam Cor Unum betekent letterlijk een van hart en dat voel je in alles wat er gemaakt wordt.\r\n\r\nBij Cor Unum werken professionals samen met mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt, studenten, vrijwilligers en getalenteerde makers. Iedereen krijgt de kans om bij te dragen aan het keramische proces en zijn of haar talenten te ontwikkelen, waardoor er een unieke mix ontstaat van vakmanschap, persoonlijke betrokkenheid en creatieve energie.\r\n\r\nDe kracht van Cor Unum zit in de samenwerking met bekende ontwerpers zoals o.a. <strong>Sofie Boonman, Floris Hovers, Roderick Vos, Willem Zwiers, Bas Koster, Hanna Kooistra, Maarten Baas, Jorine Oosterhoff<\/strong> en vele andere. Samen met de ontwerpers ontstaan objecten die kunst, design en ambacht combineren in vormen die zowel functioneel als expressief zijn.\r\n\r\nCor Unum maakt alles in <strong>in-house workshop in \u2019s-Hertogenbosch<\/strong>, waar klei wordt gestookt tot keramiek met een ziel. Je ziet hier objecten ontstaan van begin tot eind: van schets tot mal, van gieten en draaien tot het glazuren en bakken. Deze ambachtelijke aanpak betekent dat elk stuk uniek is.\r\n\r\nDe missie van Cor Unum gaat verder dan mooi design alleen. Het atelier zet zich in voor <strong>inclusiveness, social engagement<\/strong> en het behoud van keramisch ambacht. Ze bieden werk aan makers die elders moeilijk hun plek vinden en helpen jonge ontwerpers groeien door residenties, samenwerkingen en een podium te bieden aan nieuw talent.\r\n\r\nBij FunFetti past Cor Unum perfect omdat we geloven in design dat raakt, vertelt en uitnodigt tot verwondering.
