Joost Gijzel is a Dutch designer with a special eye for form, architecture and playful design. He studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven, and likes to be inspired by structures in the world around him. In his work, he combines architectural ideas with everyday forms, resulting in objects that combine functionality and creativity.

A great example of his work are the Flower Tower vases for Cor Unum. Inspired by iconic towers and silhouettes from cities such as Utrecht, these ceramic vases bring a sculptural element to your interiors. Made of handmade pottery, they have a playful and elegant feel at the same time. The tower shape refers to historical architecture but is translated by Joost into a minimalist, modern design that is easy to combine with flowers or as a stand-alone object.

Joost's designs combine craftsmanship, love of materials and a curious eye for form and space. With an object by Joost Gijzel, you bring a unique work of art into your home that instantly adds character to any room.

This is why his work fits perfectly into our collection at Funfetti.shop, where creativity and playful design objects come together.
