Rustic Bread Brood Lamp | Pampshade by Yukiko Morita
A baguette that gives off light. No joke.
The "Rustiek" Baguette Bread Lamp by Pampshade is perhaps one of the most unusual lamps you will ever see. This lamp is made of real bread, lovingly preserved and transformed into a warm, golden-brown lighting object. This model is officially called Bรขtard, but we just call it a rustic baguette. Because everyone understands that.
Designer Yukiko Morita makes her Pampshade lamps from unsold bread from bakeries. This gives bread that might otherwise be wasted a second life as a mood lamp. A softly glowing crust, an artisanal shape, and a generous dose of wonder.
This bread lamp looks beautiful on the wall, next to your bed, in the kitchen, in a hall, or anywhere you simply want something very special. During the day, it's a conversation starter. In the evening, it becomes a warm and atmospheric light source.
No two bread lamps are exactly the same; each loaf is handmade, preserved, and finished. This process gives every lamp its own shape, colour, and character. And that's why we love the bread lamps.

Good to know: Every Pampshade bread lamp is unique. Because the lamp is made from real bread, shape, colour and finish may vary from piece to piece. This is not a fault, but part of its charm.
This lamp is only suitable for dry indoor areas. Handle it with care, as the conservation process has made the bread hard and brittle.
